Welcome Sierra Parents!
The Sierra Elementary School Parent Teacher Club (PTC) is excited about the new school year. The board is a group of parent volunteers ready to make the 2022/2023 year a successful and fun year! Every parent and teacher is a member and we welcome your input. Please plan on attending a meeting and learning how your valuable donations of time and money are helping your children succeed as well as provide input as to where to best utilize those funds. The PTC meetings will be held at 6pm every 2nd Wednesday of the month at the school in the teacher’s lounge and via zoom. You can also contact the PTC by emailing info.sierra.ptc@gmail.com
One of the most important aspects about the PTC is the volunteers that come forward to help with events. These events raise money for purchases that benefits our children and the school such as:
- Spanish Instruction for Grades K thru 6
- IB (International Baccalaureate) Training
- Ongoing Computer Replacement
- Classroom Books
- Art Docent Program
- iPads and Chromebooks for Enhanced Learning
- Library Funding
- Teacher and School Supplies & Playground Equipment
The events are:
- Sierra FUNd Run
- Carnival
- Auction Event
- Family Event
In addition to fund raising events held throughout the school year, there are other opportunities to help out. If you would like more information, please email the PTC.
